Dawn, the miniature fawnling is a lively and very friendly little forest spirit. Her species hide very well in the snow, and during the summer will move north to deeper forests. One or two may be found still lingering to make a snack of the lettuce. A drop of lemon water on the leaves will keep them out of the garden. They are quite friendly creatures, and will help with eating weeds in the flowerbeds if you manage to encourage them to stay.
Dawn is the smallest mammal yet to step hoof in my workshop. She has tiny little hooves and a little button nose. Though taller than some of my creations, she has very fine detailed features and delicate legs. She was a difficult project to put together.

Dawn, like any of my creations, is made with a galvanized steel armature for full poseability, stuffing so she’s nice and squishy, high quality faux fur, and clay head and hooves. Her eyes and other clay pieces have been meticulously hand painted with acrylic paints, before hand stitching her together. She is weighted to feel real when held. Many hours have gone into ensuring that she looks as realistic and cuddly as possible.
