Solas is a winter spirit from the stories of old. He comes with the November wind, trailing frost behind him.
Not much is known about these gentle creatures. Some say they are nothing but a legend. Others claim they are an ancient relative of the Irish Elk that died out long ago.
Very few know, that if you travel far enough into the forest in the dead of winter when the world is silent and snow falls over branches covered in shimmering ice, you might spot snow-white antlers and frosted breath, dark eyes blinking once in the stillness.
Solas is up for adoption, find more info here.
Solas, like any of my creations, is made with a galvanized steel armature for full poseability, stuffing so he’s nice and squishy, high quality faux fur, and a clay head. His eyes and other clay pieces have been meticulously hand painted with acrylic paints, before hand stitching him together. His antlers and delicate hooves are made out of plastic to ensure that they are strong and not easily broken. Please note, that even still if his antlers are handled roughly, this may break them away from where they are bound to his forehead. This is an artist sculpture and not a toy. As with any artwork, handle it with care. Many hours have gone into ensuring that Solas looks as regal as a winter spirit ought.
