Snow elves can be found in the cracks of the world, hiding under garden steps and making their homes in log piles. They’ve readily adapted to living alongside humans, and much prefer building their homes up against a sturdy foundation. In the dead of winter they are often out and about enjoying the snow, so you might coax one out of hiding if you’re prepared to offer a feather in return for their time.
Snow elves bundle their children snuggly in whatever they can find. This means that they’re often kept warm in tufts of fur, moss, dandelion fluff, and feathers, the same scavenged materials they make their own clothes from. This little boy, Alby, enjoys birdwatching and gathering feathers for his home. He’s especially fond of cardinals, and is a good big brother to the newest baby snow elf in his family. Alby, though growing taller every day, can comfortably sit in your hand, and is looking for a home that is friendly to elf folk to welcome him.
He’s also quite fond of his friend Solas, the winter stag. However, he recently took a tumble while out riding, and so bears the scars on his ear and right thumb. Because of this, he’s a limited time offer at a discounted adoption rate. He’s looking for someone who doesn’t mind that he’s a little different from the other snow elves, and who will love him just the same.
Alby is currently looking for a home to take him in, and you can find adoption info on his Etsy listing.
As with any of my sculptures, much time and care has gone into meticulously hand sculpting his tiny features, painting his rosy cheeks, wrapping a soft body out of batting, and bundling him up in quality materials. His clay head, hands, and feet are completely hand sculpted and no casts or molds were used meaning this little treasure is the only one like him in the world.
